|28/11/2018 08:41||Crews extinguish electrical fire at Southampton General Hospital||Crews dealt with an electrical fire at Southampton's main hospital this morning (November 28).
Seven engines were sent to Southampton General Hospital, but the small fire was confined to an electrical cupboard in the north block.
Two carbon dioxide extinguishers were used to put out the fire, with two fans used for clearing smoke.
The fire was believed to have been caused by an overloaded inverter.
The stop message was sent at 9.47am.

The first 999 call was received at 05:21 after a member of the public had heard a smoke alarm sounding in the property.
Firefighters from Redbridge, St Mary’s, Eastleigh, Totton, Romsey and Beaulieu were called to the fire at the north end of the high street.

|16/11/2018 01:38||Firefighters rescue man from Southampton house blaze||Firefighters have rescued a man, aged 64, from a house fire in Thornhill.
Four crews from Hightown and St Mary's attended the blaze in Shelley Road at 01.38 this morning.
An aerial ladder platform was also in attendance as well as a command support vehicle from Eastleigh.
The two-storey building was severely damaged in the fire that started on the ground floor.
Firefighters used six sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel, two main jets and tactical ventilation.

The building was slightly damaged by the blaze.
Five engines attended from St Marys, Redbridge and Hightown along with support vehicles.
Two sets of breathing apparatus were used along with one hose reel, one jet and tactical ventilation.
A man was treated by firefighters for smoke inhalation before being passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The fire was in a covered part of the car park.

|08/11/2018 19:28||Crews tackle petrol pump fire after service station car crash ||Firefighters from Havant and Cosham have tackled a petrol pump fire at the eastbound Havant-Emsworth bypass services after a car crashed into the pump.
The fire is now out and no one has been hurt. The scene has been made safe by crews and Hampshire Police. No fuel has leaked and the incident will be investigated.

|31/10/2018 20:04||Booby-trapped blaze set by arsonists endangering crews||A crew from Waterlooville were called to a rubbish fire last night in Denmead.
A mattress, leaves and rubbish were alight.
However, concealed underneath these were four LPG gas canisters - two containing gas.

|23/10/2018 22:32||Blaze takes hold of historic Minley Manor water tower ||Firefighters have been tackling a large blaze at a historic water tower in Blackwater.
Neighbours alerted us to the fire just after 10:30pm last night (22 October), which crews from Yateley, Hartley Wintney, Rushmoor, Basingstoke, Rushmoor, Fleet, Bordon and Camberley responded to.
The disused 25 metre high water tower, is in the grounds of Minley Manor. At 3:50 the fire was extinguished, but crews remained at the scene due to concerns over the buildings stability.

|06/09/2018 16:24||Coach fire near Liphook put out by firefighters||Four engines were called to attend a coach fire on a busy Hampshire A road.
The crews included firefighters from Liphook, Grayshott, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service and a water carrier from Bordon.
Four hose reel jets, two main jets and eight sets of breathing apparatus were used.
Heavy traffic delays were caused by the incident on the A3 between Grayshott and Liphook.

|29/08/2018 22:01||Firefighters tackle 80-tonne rubbish pile at Basingstoke recycling site ||Firefighters have been tackling a blaze in a large pile of household rubbish at a recycling site just outside Basingstoke.
The fire was discovered just after 10pm last night (29 August) in the tipping hall at the site near Chineham.
The fire has involved around 80 tonnes of household waste and the crews have been using a digger, alongside other mechanical vehicles and equipment, to dig out the rubbish and extinguish it.

Neighbours called 999 after fire was spotted on the balcony of the house’s third floor.
More than 25 firefighters from Southsea, Cosham, Havant and Portchester were needed to bring the flames under control.
Crews in breathing apparatus were able to establish there was no-one inside the terraced property and no-one was injured in the incident.
