|16/01/2019 11:41||Firefighters rescue cat and owner stuck in tree||Firefighters were called to an incident in Warsash Rd, Fareham this morning.
A cat was stuck up a tree and its owner had gone up to rescue it and also become stuck.
The pair were rescued using a short ladder.
A crew from Fareham attended.
It is understood the cat had been missing for three days and was named Harry.

|10/01/2019 05:31||Calmore warehouse destroyed in early morning blaze||A warehouse in Calmore was destroyed in a fire which broke out in the early hours of this morning (10 Jan).
Hampshire Constabulary closed Salisbury Road to allow access for emergency vehicles.
The electricity to the property was isolated due to arcing electrical cables, with crews also aware of gas canisters involved in the fire.
Firefighters from Totton, Redbridge, St Mary's, Eastleigh and Romsey extinguished the fire using four main jets and three hose reel jets.
|02/01/2019 16:08||Firefighters tackle large Denmead workshop fire||More than 50 firefighters have attended a blaze at a workshop in Denmead.
The single-storey building in Sheepwash Lane, which was used for car repair and furniture restoration, has been destroyed by the fire.
Crews used foam and two hose reels jets to tackle the flames.
Two men suffered minor burns to their hands and wrists. They were treated by firefighters at the scene before being handed over to the care of South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).

|29/12/2018 09:36||Heifer released from drinking trough||Firefighters from Burley, Lyndhurst and Redbridge attended an incident in Burley with an HFRS Animal Rescue Tactical Advisor.
An adult Aberdeen Angus heifer had its head stuck in a drinking trough.
Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to free the animal.

|17/12/2018 11:17||Firefighters called to West Quay restaurant blaze||Southampton firefighters tackled a fire which began in a pizza oven in a West-Quay restaurant.
Crews from St Mary’s, Cosham, Hightown, Eastleigh and Service Headquarters were called this morning (17 Dec) to reports of smoke coming from a vent at the shopping centre.
The fire spread to the roof space via ducting and was extinguished using four sets of breathing apparatus, two jets and one stirrup pump.

The crash happened at 06:42 and four engines from Fordingbridge and Redbridge, and Dorset and Wiltshire, attended with specialist vehicles.
A person trapped on the first floor was walked to safety using a ladder.
Hampshire Constabulary and South Central Ambulance Service were also in attendance.

|05/12/2018 22:18||Two girls and mum rescued from Portsmouth house fire||Firefighters rescued two girls and a mother after a cooking fire broke out in a Portsmouth home.
The blaze was in a second floor maisonette at Farmside Gardens in Hilsea.
Three engines attended from Cosham and Southsea, and a support vehicle from Portchester. Crews broke the door down to gain access.
Four sets of breathing apparatus were used along with one hose reel and tactical ventilation.

|28/11/2018 08:41||Crews extinguish electrical fire at Southampton General Hospital||Crews dealt with an electrical fire at Southampton's main hospital this morning (November 28).
Seven engines were sent to Southampton General Hospital, but the small fire was confined to an electrical cupboard in the north block.
Two carbon dioxide extinguishers were used to put out the fire, with two fans used for clearing smoke.
The fire was believed to have been caused by an overloaded inverter.
The stop message was sent at 9.47am.

The first 999 call was received at 05:21 after a member of the public had heard a smoke alarm sounding in the property.
Firefighters from Redbridge, St Mary’s, Eastleigh, Totton, Romsey and Beaulieu were called to the fire at the north end of the high street.

Four crews from Hightown and St Mary's attended the blaze in Shelley Road at 01.38 this morning.
An aerial ladder platform was also in attendance as well as a command support vehicle from Eastleigh.
The two-storey building was severely damaged in the fire that started on the ground floor.
