A 75 year old male with disability issues was rescued from ankle deep water and handed over to the care of South Central Ambulance Service. HFRS support included a pump from Romsey, a response support vehicle from Redbridge and our water support unit from Fareham. We received the stop at 17:38. Winchester Road

29/07/2016 19:10RTC - BasingstokeWe attended an RTC on the M3 between Junctions 6 and 7 at Basingstoke, following a serious crash. One casualty was removed by HFRS and handed over to the care of SCAS. The collision took place on the northbound carriageway at 19:10 with the M3 closed in both directions following the incident. M3

27/07/2016 19:06Fire - BasingstokeCrews were called to reports of flames and smoke at a church in St Michael's Road just after 7pm. The fire started in a smaller structure adjacent to the church and spread to the main building. Around 30 firefighters were able to surround the fire and prevent serious damage to the main church building. Part of the church roof was damaged but the fire was contained to the roof space. 27/07/2016 08:57Gas main - TottonCrews from Redbridge, St Mary's and Totton attended a ruptured gas main that was on fire. It was extinguished by getting the utilities firm to turn off the gas. The electricity cables were also ruptured. Four properties were evacuated but residents are now home. The stop message was at 12.14.Singleton Way Singleton Way

26/07/2016 13:53Fire - BordonCrews were called to a severe fire in a business complex on the High Street in Bordon containing 11 units. The fire spread through the first floor and loft areas of four units and around 50 firefighters were needed to deal with the blaze. They used three jets, a hose reel, eight sets of breathing apparatus and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the flames. 25/07/2016 03:32Fire - A34 LitchfieldAround 18 firefighters dealt with a fire in the cab unit of a 44-tonne articulated lorry on the southbound carriageway of the A34 between Litchfield and Whitchurch. The fire also partially spread to the trailer of the vehicle, which was carrying parcels, and the crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, two jets and two hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
