05/01/2017 09:31Residential Fire - Hayling IslandThree dogs were rescued by firefighters after a blaze broke out in Green Lane, Hayling Island. Two crews from Havant and Cosham attended. We were called at 09.31. Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel, jets and tactical ventilation to extinguish the ground floor kitchen fire. The animals were given oxygen and taken to the vets by the occupier. The stop message was at 10.15.Green Lane

02/01/2017 00:45Fire - HavantWe recieved a 999 call from an elderly lady who could hear her smoke alarm activating and could smell smoke in her property. Our Control room operator told the 75-year-old woman to go back into her bedroom, close the door and cover the bottom of the door with a pillow. Crews from Havant arrived and discovered a fire in the downstairs kitchen. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire and rescue the woman from her upstairs bedroom. 31/12/2016 17:11Commercial fire - SouthamptonWe were callled to reports of a fire at West Quay shopping centre. We found a small fire in a fridge in the food hall of the centre's M&S store and crews from Southampton quickly extinguished it using two jets. The store's sprinklers also activated to help deal with the fire. The centre was evacuated but was closing at that time anyway. The stop message was recieved at 18.07.West Quay

29/12/2016 16:20Fire agricultural - Barton StaceyCrews from across the county attended a barn fire. Approximately 125 tonnes hay and farm machinery was destroyed and the fire spread to a second steel-framed farm building. Crews worked hard to protect a second barn and its contents. 29/12/2016 12:37Car into water - CalshotWe were called to a report of a car that had left the road and landed in a ditch alongside the road. The car contained three elderly adults, one man and two women, who were submerged in water up to their waists. We mobilised crews to the scene, including our water rescue team from Fareham, but the trio were able to free themselves from the car before we arrived. 28/12/2016 12:47Commercial - SouthamptonEight fire engines attended a shopping centre after smoke caused an alarm to go off at Pizza Express. Thermal imaging cameras were used by firefighters checking the building. Police and ambulance also attended. It was caused by cooking fumes due to the malfunction of the extrication system. 21/12/2016 05:57Commercial fire - PortsmouthTen fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were called to Albert Road in Southsea, Portsmouth this morning (Wednesday 21 December 2016) to a fire in a dry cleaners. The ground floor of the mid-terrace property was destroyed by fire, with limited damage to the first floor flat and roof of the building. Crews used six jets, two hose reels and 46 breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze and prevented it from affecting neighbouring shops and flats. No one was thought to be in the building...Albert Road

17/12/2016 17:20Mud rescue - BeaulieuWe were called to a rescue from a bog off Beaulieu Road Station, Beaulieu Road. It was a multiagency approach with a pump attendance from Beaulieu, Redbridge and Lyndhurst along with our water rescue unit from Fareham. A male adult and a female child were released from the bog using mud paths and water rescue level 2. They were airlifted to hospital by the Coastguard. 14/12/2016 22:25Fire - M3 Fleet ServicesWe were called on the night of Wednesday 14 December to a severe fire in the restaurant area of the Fleet services on the southbound carriageway of the M3. More than 100 firefighters from Hampshire and Surrey fought to stop the fire spreading through the building. No-one was injured in the incident, but around 60% of the building was damaged by fire, with the remainder being affected by smoke.
