|10/08/2017 15:59||Chemical spill on A3 cleaned up by crews||The northbound carriageway of the A3 was closed yesterday as crews dealt with a chemical leak coming from a lorry between Liphook and Petersfield.
Petersfield, Winchester, Cosham, Liphook and Surrey were all in attendance to deal with the container which was leaking a class 8 marine pollutant.

|08/08/2017 16:58||Crews called to unattended cooking fire in Portsmouth flat||Two crews from Southsea Fire Station, two from Cosham Fire Station and an Aerial Ladder Platform attended a fire in a flat in Sarah Robinson House in Portsmouth.
Further appliances were turned back when the fire, on the first floor of the Queen Street building, was found to be out on arrival.
The alarm was raised at 16:58 with the stop message coming through quickly at 17:14, with police also in attendance.

|03/08/2017 12:10||Man released after being trapped by fallen tree||Crews from Hythe and Redbridge fire stations extricated a male casualty from a ride-on lawn mower underneath a fallen tree.
The casualty was taken to hospital after being handed to SCAS.
The call came in at 12:10 with the stop message being received 13:05.||Dibden
|31/07/2017 16:08||Crane fire at Portsmouth naval base||Four HFRS fire crews and a specialist vehicle attended a fire at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth.
The 95-tonne crane was on fire and it was extinguished at 18:11.
Hose reels, jets and a tugboat were used.
The incident was then handed back to HMNB Portsmouth.

|26/07/2017 13:15||Trapped pony released by firefighters in Hedge End||Firefighters were called out after a pony fell and got trapped between two trees.
Crews from Hightown and Lyndhurst attended along with a specialist vehicle from Winchester.
The team used manual manipulation to free the mare which was 12 hands tall and weighed 250kg.
A vet was also in attendance.
After being released the pony was able to walk back to its stables.
The incident was near Woodhouse Lane, in Hedge End.

|25/07/2017 15:33||Supermarket fire breaks out in Totton||Three fire crews attended a blaze that broke out at Morrisons supermarket.
A man was treated for smoke inhalation by HFRS before being handed over to the care of South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).
Firefighters from St Mary's and Redbridge attended and extinguished the small fire in a freezer.
Breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and tactical ventilation were used.

|24/07/2017 18:34||Boat blaze tackled by Gosport fire crews||Two fire crews from Gosport were called to a house boat blaze.
A man and two dogs were off the boat on arrival.
Breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used.
The man, aged 50, was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by HFRS and later checked by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS). The incident happened at The Maritime Workshop, Ferrol Road and the stop message was at 20:15.||Ferrol Road
|24/07/2017 10:33||Dogs die in Fareham house fire||Six crews from Cosham, Portchester, Fareham, Southsea and St Mary's were called to a house fire in Kenwood Road in which two terriers died.
Support vehicles, including an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP), also attended.
Two people were treated by HFRS for smoke inhalation.
Two bulldogs were rescued and taken to safety.
The fire broke out in the kitchen of a first-floor maisonette which spread to the roof space and affected two properties.

|20/07/2017 12:51||Firefighters release Portsmouth fox from inside wall||An animal rescue vehicle has attended a newspaper building after reports of a stuck fox.
The cub had managed to get into a wall in The News Centre building of The News newspaper, in London Road, Portsmouth.
Watch Manager and animal rescue expert Adrian Knight attended after being contacted by the RSPCA.
The animal was trapped with one of its front paws stuck.
WM Knight managed to manually free the paw and assist the fox as it struggled to get out.
The RSPCA also attended.
