Crews from across Hampshire battle fire in Aldershot High Street
Description of Incident
Firefighters from across Hampshire and Surrey were called to a car wash and tyre centre on Aldershot High Street in the early hours of this morning (08 Jan) after a fire had broken out involving tyres and cylinders. 
Crews from Rushmoor, Guildford, Farnham, Fleet, Camberley, Basingstoke, HQ, and Alton brought the fire under control and extinguished it using CAFS (compressed air foam system), four jets, two hose reels, 12 breathing apparatus’, and tactical ventilation. 
The building was sadly fully destroyed by the fire. 
Fire Investigation Officers will attend the scene today to look into the cause of the fire. 
Most crews returned to stations at 05:40 with the remaining firefighters continuing to dampen down any hotspots. The High Street has since reopened to the public.
