E-cigarette suspected cause of Tadley car fire
Description of Incident
Firefighters were called to a car blaze in Tadley on June 12.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an e-cigarette left on charge.
The front of the car was scorched and melted in the fire and the vehicle was also severely damaged by smoke.
A crew from Tadley Fire Station attended and used a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames and a thermal imaging camera to ensure the scene was safe.
The car was parked in Bishopswood Road.
Firefighters left the scene at 19:01.
