Van destroyed in Southampton car park blaze

A van has been gutted by fire in a Southampton car park.The building was slightly damaged by the blaze.Five engines attended from St Marys, Redbridge and Hightown along with support vehicles.Two sets of breathing apparatus were used along with one hose reel, one jet and tactical ventilation.A man was treated by firefighters for smoke inhalation before being passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.The fire was in a covered part of the car park.The stop message was at 21:23.
