Three adults rescued from a late-night kitchen fire in Gosport.
Firefighters from Gosport, Fareham and Hightown were called to the property on North Cross Street after a smoke detector raised the alarm.Crews rescued one person from the window at the front of the building with two occupants rescued from the roof of property. Four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one jet, ladders and tactical ventilation were used. The three casualties were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by SCAS but weren?t required to go to hospital.Smoke detectors provide valuable early warning of a fire, allowing families to get out, stay out and call 999.
