Thatch fire – Damerham

About 80 firefighters attended a thatch fire in South End, Damerham. The building was severely damaged. Crews attended from Fordingbridge, Hightown, Burley, Wickham, Andover, Southsea, Eastleigh, Hythe, St Mary’s, Brockenhurst and Redbridge. There were also engines from Dorest and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service. The roof was completely destroyed, and the first floor and ground floor were badly damaged. Fire crews were able to salvage some of the owner’s possessions. The stop message was at 00:22
