Two engines from Whitchurch and Basingstoke, plus a Land Rover from Basingstoke, joined two engines from Newbury at a thatch fire in Whitway, Burghclere.The fire started in a shed close to the property and spread to the thatch. A small part of the thatch had to be removed. Two jets, two hose reels and three breathing apparatus were used. Stop time was 08:17.
