RTC – Martyr Worthy

Three pumps from Winchester, Alresford and Redbridge were called to an incident at Bridgets Farm, Bridgets Lane, Marty Worthy this afternoon (Monday 04 July) after a report of fallen power lines on a vehicle.Control received the call from a tractor driver after an electricity pole had fallen and live high voltage cables wrapped around his cab. Insulated from the ground, the driver was unharmed and calm throughout the incident.After support from the electricity board to isolate the cables, crews assisted the driver from the cab of his tractor to safety. The stop message was received at 14:48.
