Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the A3 this evening where a vehicle had left the road and on its side down an embankment. The vehicle had also taken out a 11000 volt power cable. Crews from Liphook, Cosham and one crew from Haslemere in Surrey released a male from the vehicle whilst Southern Electricity Board made the power cable safe.The male was transferred to hospital by ambulance. The stop message was received at 18:29.
