RTC – Hinton

Two pumps from New Milton and Burley were called this evening (Wednesday 07 July) to an RTC on the A35 in Hinton.The collision involved one car and one New Forest Pony. One female casualty was released from the vehicle by HFRS crews before being handed over to the care of the South Central Ambulance Service for transport to hospital. Two other people self-rescued from the car before the arrival of the fire service. Unfortunately the pony died at the scene.The stop message was received at 00:24.
