Roof fire – Portsmouth

Three pumps from Southsea, an aerial ladder platform and a pump from Cosham attended a fire in the roof of a house in Locarno Road, Portsmouth.Six breathing apparatus were used and three jets to tackle the fire. The aerial ladder platform was used to remove roof titles.All persons were accounted for.The roof space is 100% damaged by fire. There is 100% smoke damage to the property and the first floor is 50% damaged by water. The property has been handed over to Hampshire Police to secure overnight. An investigation will be carried out to determine the cause.
