Residents led to safety from Lymington fire
Two crews from Lymington Fire Station were called to a property fire on Lockerley Close at 06:51 this morning. The fire in the bedroom of a detached property involved bedding, with two elderly residents led to safety from the scene. The casualties, suffering from smoke inhalation, were given Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) by HFRS personnel. Four sets of breathing apparatus, two high-pressure hose reels, one jet and tactical ventilation for smoke clearance were used to extinguish the fire before the stop message came in at 07:48.
