Residential fire – Hedge End

Three crews rescued a 70 year old man from a house fire. The blaze started on the ground floor of the two-storey building. The casualty was given first aid and trauma care by HFRS before being passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service who took him to hospital. Four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two jets were used. The stop message came in at 12.42. It was attended by three crews from Fareham, Hightown and Bishops Waltham
