Two pumps (one from Redbridge and one from Hightown) attended a vehicle stranded in rain water runoff this morning (Thursday 23 June).The vehicle had become stuck in water and firefighters pushed the vehicle to safety before aiding the two occupants. Neither person was injured.The stop message was received at 02:59 and Southampton City Council’s highways team were contacted about putting a road closure in place.
