Rescue from mud – Marchwood

Walkers are reminded to keep to the paths after firefighters were called to a female stuck in mud today. Crews from Totton, Redbridge, Hythe, Brockenhurst and Fareham attended. The crews used two mud rescue paths, one mud lance, one shovel and a scoop stretcher to release the female. The casualty was then handed into the care of the ambulance. The 999 call was received at 12:23 and the stop message received at 14:43.
