Rescue from height – Aldershot

Three pumps from Rushmoor were called to Queen Elizabeth Drive in Aldershot this morning (Friday 09 September). A 54 year-old woman had fallen from a fourth floor window and landed on scaffolding on the second floor.Working alongside colleges from the South Central Ambulance Service and with the turntable ladder from Surrey FRS’s Guildford Fire Station, the woman was released from the scaffolding and assisted to ground level on a long board.The casualty was handed over to the care of the ambulance service and the stop message was received at 07:45.
