Customers in a Portsmouth pub were forced to put down their drinks after fire broke out in the flat above it. Crews discovered smoke in the building on the The Hard and found the fire in the first-floor flat. There was no-one in the property at the time and crews in breathing apparatus used hoses and jets to extinguish the flames within an hour. No-one was hurt and the cause of the fire was found to be accidental.
