Portsmouth firefighters tackle Port lorry fire
Two crews from Southsea were called to a fire involving an articulated lorry at Portsmouth International Port just before midday.Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and Compressed Air Foam Solution (CAFS) to stop the fire which had caused a large amount of smoke and could be seen from a distance.The driver of the vehicle was treated for smoke inhalation by crews before being passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.Firefighters left the scene when the stop message came in at 13:04.
