More than 30 firefighters attend Basingstoke restaurant blaze
More than 30 firefighters were called to a fire in a Basingstoke restaurant.The blaze was on a second floor and believed to have started in the cooking extraction system.Seven engines from Basingstoke, Odiham, Hartley Wintney and Overton attended the fire at Festival Place along with an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) from Basingstoke and a Command Unit from Rushmoor.A hose reel, four sets of breathing apparatus and tactical ventilation was used.The stop message was 08:33.
