Man dies in Rushmoor house fire

A 52 year old man has been found dead following a house fire in Farnborough.Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a house fire in Cumbria Court, at 22:22 last night (May 25).Three crews from Rushmoor attended the incident and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The stop message was received at 23:10.The body of the man was found in the building and he was confirmed dead at the scene.Hampshire Constabulary is not treating the death as suspicious and a fire investigation will now take place to establish the cause.
