Lymington crews were called yesterday to a boat alight in the marina

The 50ft yacht was moored as crews boarded the vessel to extinguish the blaze which severely damaged the deck.

The fire beneath the deck and at the head of the vessel was tackled using two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.

Both the Coastguard and RNLI were in attendance as a precaution, with firefighters leaving the scene at 13:32.
