Firefighters were called out to rescue an Irish Draught gelding from a well.Crews from Alresford, Overton and Winchester attended the incident in which the large male horse had got its hind legs trapped.Crews used small tools, animal rescue equipment and a Manitou telehandler.The horse was 20 years old and measured 16.3 hands (1.65 metres).The incident was at Riverside Farm Lane, Tichborne, Alresford.The stop message was at 09:04
