One crew from Burley and one from Overton alongside one of Hampshire’s specialist animal rescue officers attended a horse stuck in boggy ground today (Sunday 05 June) near Castle Hill Lane, Burley.The rider had fallen from her saddle when the 15-hand female horse sunk into the bog, but was thankfully uninjured.The crews and animal rescue specialist aided the horse out of the bog after which it was assessed by the vet and given the all clear.
