Hundreds of old film reels lost in fire

A fire in an outbuilding was well alight when crews from St Mary?s, Redbridge, Hightown, Eastleigh, and Hythe arrived at the scene. The outbuilding contained hundreds of highly flammable cine nitrate film. Twelve breathing apparatus?, one main jet, one hose reel jet, compressed air foam solution, and one ultra high pressure lance have been used so far to tackle the fire. The roof also partially collapsed on the outbuilding. At this time the incident is still ongoing with the blaze under control. The cause of this fire is not being treated as suspicious.
