House fire – Calshot

Four pumps, from Hardley, Hythe, Beaulieu and Redbridge were called to Tristan Close this evening (Monday 10 October).On arrival crews found a fire in the first floor bedroom of a mid-terrace property which they tackled using three jets and two hose reels as well as eight breathing apparatus.No one was injured in the fire, however the ground floor of the house was 100% damaged by smoke and water, the first floor 80% damaged by fire and 20% by smoke and the roof 100% damaged by fire.The stop message was received at 20:21.
