House fire – Alton

Three pumps from Alton (one) and Basingstoke (two) were called to a property on Salisbury Close, Alton this morning after reports of a fire.On arriving, crews tackled a small fire in the ground floor kitchen using two hose reels and two jets alongside positive pressure ventilation fans and four sets of breathing apparatus.The were no people injured in the fire, but one dog was rescued from the property by crews and taken to the vet by its owner for smoke inhalation.The stop message was received at 11:03.
