High-rise fire – Basingstoke

Crews from Basingstoke, Tadley, Odiham and Kingsclere were called to a small kitchen fire in a high-rise building in Basingstoke this evening. The fire was out on arrival and firefighters assisted the occupier but took no further action with the property. The stop came in at 20:58.This incident is another reminder of the importance of residents knowing their buildings evacuation procedure, whether to ‘Stay Put’ or ‘evacuate’.
