Hampshire and Dorset crews fight large blaze near Hythe Pier

A large commercial fire near Hythe pier was tackled by crews from numerous stations across Hampshire and a crew from Dorset and Wiltshire.Hythe, Hardley, Redbridge, Bealieu, Romsey, Totton, Eastleigh, St Mary’s, Hightown and Dorset crews were quickly on the scene to the large visible fire this morning.With flames emanating two sets of breathing apparatus, three jets, two hose reel jets and the aerial ladder platform were all utilized. The stop message came in at 12:02 with our Fire Investigation Team due to be attending the site later.
