Firefighters rescue a person from a house fire in Basingstoke
A call was received at 01:16 am on Thursday 20th June. The fire was at a domestic property in the Basingstoke area. Three pumps from Basingstoke fire station and one pump from Tadley fire station attended the scene. A person was rescued from the property and treated by South Central Ambulance Service. Six breathing apparatus, two main jets, three hose reels, tactical ventilation, one area ladder platform and one triple extension ladder was used. Two neighbouring properties were also damaged by the fire.
