We received a 999 call to a fire in a ground floor flat on Denzil Road Three crews from St Mary’s, Hightown and Redbridge attended and two firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the flat and used a hose reel to extinguish the flames. The flat was destroyed in the fire but no-one was in the flat at the time and no-one was hurt. One guinea pig was rescued from the fire. The stop message was received at 16.54.
