Crews from St Mary’s, Redbridge, Totton and Eastleigh were called to reports of smoke coming from the ground level of the hospital. They discovered heavy smoke logging in a laundry room and extinguished a small fire using two sets of breathing apparatus and a jet. The cause of the fire is unknown and no-one was injured. The incident was dealt with by 5.51.
