Crews from St Mary’s, Hightown, Eastleigh and Redbridge were called to a severe fire in a derelict bungalow on land between Spring Crescent and Lawn Road in Southampton. Around 30 firefighters tackled the blaze, which destroyed the roof of the building and caused significant damage to the rest of the property. No-one was in the property at the time and no one was injured in the fire. The cause is now under investigation.
