Fire – Southampton

Around 18 firefighters from St Mary’s and Hightown stations attended a fire in a terraced building this afternoon. The fire involved a fridge freezer in the kitchen and the property was 50% damaged by fire, 50% damaged by smoke. Crews used four breathing apparatus, two jets, one hose reel and positive pressure ventilation to tackle the fire. The 999 call was received at 15:24 and the stop came in at 16:36.
