Fire residential – Southampton

Crews from St Mary?s, Hightown and Eastleigh HQ were called to a fire in a five-storey block of flats.Firefighters tackling the fire used eight breathing apparatus, one jet, two hose reels and an ultra high pressure lance. The fire was in a third floor maisonette flat and spread over the first and second floor of that flat, with the second floor 100% damaged by fire and the first 50% damaged by smoke and water.Two causalities were taken to hospital by SCAS for suffering smoke inhalation. The stop message was received at 15:56 and there will be an investigation into the cause of the fire.
