We received a call at 02:49 to a fire in a hotel of traditional brick and tiled construction. There was a fire in first floor bedroom involving an extractor fan and towel rail. Crews from Lyndhurst, Totton, Brockenhurst, Redbridge the Aerial Ladder Platform from St Marys and the Command Unit from Eastleigh. The fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 high pressure hose reel, 1 jet and a positive pressure fan for smoke clearance.
