A 999 caller reported that their electrics had blown and there was smoke in their house. Control operators advised the woman to stay out of the house and two crews from Cosham were called to investigate. They discovered a smell of burning and found an overloaded plug socket to be the cause of the smoke. The crews unplugged and removed the socket and the stop message came in at 7.45am.
