Fire in two Southampton homes tackled by crews

Crews were called to tackle a blaze in two domestic properties in Poole Road, Southampton earlier this morning.Vehicles from Hightown, St Mary’s and Eastleigh used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and two jets to fight the fire.The electricity company attended the incident to isolate the electricity to all neighbouring properties.The stop message came in at 08:15 with a re-inspection planned for 10:00 this morning. The incident was handed over to the police.
