Fire fighters from Winchester and Eastleigh fire stations, were today called to a fire in a domestic property. The building was of timber construction with a slate roof. The fire was in the roof space. Six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one jet were used to extinguish the fire. The crews also requested the support of the water carrier from Eastleigh. The call came in at 0749 hours and the stop was received at 0910 hours.
