Around 20 firefighters attended a fire in a mid-terrace house in Gosport this afternoon. Crews from Gosport, Fareham and Southsea tackled the blaze with two hose reels, one jet, six breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation. A roof ladder with the rope pack safety system was also used as crews were on the roof of the building. The first floor of the property was 80% severely damaged by fire. The 999 call was received at 14:29 and the stop came in at 16:02.
