Fire – East Wellow

We received a call at 1836 this evening to a fire in a property in Romsey Road, East Wellow. The Stop was received at 2058. A domestic building of traditional construction consisting of 2 floors, 12m x 6m. The fire was in the kitchen and kitchen extension which was damaged 25% by fire and 100% by smoke on both ground and first floors. The attending appliances from Romsey and St Marys used 8 breathing apparatus, 2 jets and 1 hosereel to extinguish the fire. 4 dogs were rescued from the property by Hampshire Fire and Rescue service.
