Fire commercial – Alresford

Crews were alerted to Alresford Fire Station, one of our retained stations where firefighters are only present when they are alerted to a call.Crews from Winchester, Hightown and Alton attended. Four sets of breathing apparatus, one jet and two hose reels were used to tackle the fire.The building is shared with Hampshire Police who weren?t present at the time. All persons were accounted for. Fire investigation will investigate this incident in due course. Alresford Station will operate business as usual. Our Service business continuity plan allows us to be resilient and continue to protect our communities. The stop came in at 11:51.
