Electrical blaze in Sopley tackled by Hampshire and Dorset crews

Beaulieu and Ringwood firefighters assisted crews from Dorset in tackling an electrical fire in Sopley, on the Hampshire-Dorset border.The electricity board were called to attend following damage to an electrical pole, as were the police who closed Derritt Lane.Two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire involving a pile of wood which had spread to a garage, overhead cabling and nearby cylinders.The stop message came through at 07:19.
