E-cigarette suspected cause of Tadley car fire

Firefighters were called to a car blaze in Tadley on June 12.The fire is believed to have been caused by an e-cigarette left on charge.The front of the car was scorched and melted in the fire and the vehicle was also severely damaged by smoke.A crew from Tadley Fire Station attended and used a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames and a thermal imaging camera to ensure the scene was safe.The car was parked in Bishopswood Road.Firefighters left the scene at 19:01.
