One engine from Hightown attended a domestic fire at Ivy Dene, Southampton. This was caused by unattended cooking being left on the oven. Firefighters entered through the back door to extinguish the fire and rescue a trapped dog. The home was unoccupied and the alarm was raised by a neighbour who heard the smoke alarm. The stop message was at 11.32.
