Domestic fire – Havant

Three pumps (from Havant, Cosham and Emsworth) were called to a fire in the kitchen of a flat on Billy Lawn Avenue in Havant this afternoon (Monday 21 November 2016).On arrival crews discovered a small fire in the kitchen which was extinguished using one hose reel. Crews also used two sets of breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fans for smoke clearance.One female casualty was rescued from the property and given O2 therapy by crews for smoke inhalation, before she was handed over to the care of the South Central Ambulance Service.The stop message was received at 15:41.
