Domestic fire – Fordingbridge

Two pumps from Ringwood and Fordingbridge were called to a house fire in Fordingbridge this evening (Wednesday 06 July).On arrival crews found a small fire in the first floor kitchen of a two-storey flat which they tackled with two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation fans to clear the smoke.One female casualty was lead to safety by the South Central Ambulance Service prior to the arrival of our crews and taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.The stop message was received at 23:35.
